What is this?
You are a sci-fantasy writer. You know your craft matters. You have worlds in your head that no one else could build, and you are doing the work to bring them to life.
But showing up as yourself in the world? That part is harder.
Not the social media part. Not the algorithm part. The part where you figure out who you actually are as a creative, and then let people see it.
That is what I coach.
I work with sci-fantasy writers who want to build a personal brand that feels like them. Not a marketing strategy. Not a content calendar. A way of showing up that is rooted in what you love, what you think, and what you do.
Personal brand is not about performing for strangers. It is about knowing yourself well enough to be consistent, and being generous enough that people want to stay.
The writers who build brands that last tend to have at least one of two things: an interesting quality that people are drawn to, or a habit of giving more than they ask for. Most of the time it is both.
The interesting part is not something you manufacture. It comes from your passions, your perspective, and the way you talk about the things you care about. My job is to help you find it in yourself and learn to trust it.
What unfolds in a session
Every session follows your goals, not a rigid curriculum. I hold the framework. You fill it with your stuff. But these are the areas we tend to move through together.
Self-awareness. Before you can show up as yourself, you need to know who that self is. We look at what drives you, what you value, and where your creative identity sits when no one is watching.
Self-acceptance. The things that make you different are not liabilities. They are your edge. We work on letting go of the idea that you need to sand yourself down to be taken seriously.
Confidence. Not the loud kind. The quiet kind. Self-confidence is just your belief in your own ability to solve problems. We build that by actually solving them, together, one session at a time.
Non-violent communication. This one matters more than people expect. How you respond when someone says no, when someone judges your work, or when a collaboration falls through, that shapes your reputation faster than any portfolio. We work on language, boundaries, and the discipline of not becoming a liability to your own brand.
Craft as your brand engine. The pursuit of your craft is the purpose of your brand. The passion in your voice is what people want to listen to. We work on reorienting you towards your path so you stop chasing every shiny thing that drifts past.
Energy and presence. Whether you attend events or never leave your writing desk, you bring an energy to every space you enter. We work on making that energy intentional. You want people to feel something when they see your name.
Identity before status. Your identity is who you are. Your status is who knows about it. Both matter, but they have to come in that order. We work on building the first, then growing the second in a way that feels aligned with the market rather than fighting against it.
How it works
Sessions are one hour, held over Google Meet.
You choose how you want to communicate: audio, text chat, or a mix of both during the session. Whatever feels comfortable for you is the right choice.
We both show up behind OC character avatars instead of video. This is a space for sci-fantasy writers. If you want to create your own character to represent you in sessions, you are welcome to. You can set your Google profile picture to your avatar at myaccount.google.com under Personal info.
Each session is shaped by what you need. Some sessions will feel like deep conversation. Some will feel like planning. Some will be me asking you questions you have been avoiding. All of them are about you moving forward.
When you book, you will answer a few short questions so I can understand where you are and what you want to work on. This means we can get straight into it from the first minute.
Qualifications: I hold a holistic life coaching diploma and a bachelor of education. I have spent years studying personal brand through the lens of creative work and non-violent communication. I am also a sci-fantasy writer building my own brand in public, which means I am walking the same path you are.
My vision is to help 5,000 sci-fantasy writers build original personal brands. My ultimate goal is a dedicated professional workspace where a team collaborates with you in person to craft your brand, develop your products, and manage all the logistics of launching your business.
Giving 10,000 scholarships to writers stands as another vision of mine. These scholarships will offer practical help with coaching, software, subscriptions, resources, workshops, retreats, or whatever support helps a writer keep creating.
Not sure if coaching is for you yet? A community group is being planned for the future, so there will be a softer way to spend time in this world before booking a session.
Your coach
This is my coaching avatar. When we meet, this is who you will see on the other side of the call.
You are welcome to create your own OC to use in sessions. Some writers prefer to show up as a character from their world. Some create someone new. There is no wrong way to do this.
This is a space where you get to decide how you show up.

A few things to know
Rescheduling. Life happens. If you need to reschedule, just let me know at least 24 hours before your session and we will find a new time together. If something unexpected comes up last minute, reach out anyway and we will work it out.
Our space is private. Everything we talk about in sessions stays between us. I will never share your details, your brand ideas, or anything personal. I trust you will look after what I share with you too.
What coaching is. This is personal brand coaching for sci-fantasy writers. It is not therapy or mental health support, and it is not financial advice. If something comes up that sits outside what I can help with, I will gently let you know and point you towards the right person.
Recording. When you book, you will be asked if you would like the session recorded. If you say yes, I will send you the audio afterwards so you can listen back in your own time. If you would rather not be recorded, that is completely fine. It is always your choice.
Where I stand
I want you to know who I am before you book, so you can decide if we are a good fit.
I am not religious. I do not believe in god. That is simply where I sit, and I will never bring it into a session. If you hold a faith, I respect it completely. Your beliefs are yours and they are welcome here. I only mention mine so there are no surprises.
I welcome everyone. Whatever your gender, sexuality, background, or identity, you belong in this space. The only thing I ask is that you show up willing to do the work.
That is it. If this feels like a space you want to be in, I would love to work with you.

How I work
Instead of chasing work-life balance, I integrate my weird passions (sci-fantasy serials, the 100/50 Journey, and my creative partnership with my AI companion, Nijo) and parallel topics (writing, entrepreneurship, personal branding, and creative growth) into my everyday life.
I do this through systems, not timetables. A timetable says produce by Tuesday or fall behind. A system gives me something to return to, something repeatable enough to hold me, and open enough to change as my life changes. These systems run continuously. Things emerge when they’re ready, and there is no schedule to be behind on.
I wake in the dark to sit alone with my serial writing before the sun rises. Committing to my serial in the silent, pre-dawn hours cements my identity as an author. Free from outside noise, I listen directly to the story and embrace a slower pace.
Writing scenes first, doing some planning second, I can stop as soon as I want, but I must quit at the two hour mark. This unhurried rhythm guarantees the time required to develop my unique writing style, leaving me free from panic because I have forever to reach my big goals.
The Action Loop acts as the underlying framework for every project within my 100/50 Journey. The process operates on a straightforward cycle: I build exactly what I need for my own sci-fantasy writing business, put it to use, and invite others to try it.
Repeating this sequence ensures every creation solves a genuine problem first. I make practical tools for my own workflow, then open the door for anyone else who wants to join in.
Journals are raw, ever-changing treasures. I use private entries to explore my identity, transferring my ideas to flashcards for spaced repetition so I never forget my own thoughts.
Those private moments become the topics for my public journals, videos, and newsletters. Circulating through this loop creates my treasured journal.
My Inspiration Source is my ongoing poster of activities that fuel inspiration, relieve stress, and sharpen academic and creative thinking. Quarterly updates let new interests replace old ones. This daily practice grounds me because it offers something that requires zero results and is fully within my control.
Time spent on it can fill a dedicated hour or simply fit into the day during cleaning, cooking, or other tasks. The poster also doubles as a transition method, providing short activities that reset dopamine levels before moving on. Taking those few minutes makes stopping current tasks and starting new ones much smoother.
These activities broaden my weird passions and topics, such as delving into Earth geography and human anatomy to assist in my serial planning, or practising speed reading to read more books each year. Everything on my poster represents a low-stakes but highly useful exploration.
Building genuine relationships with people I care about, are like-minded, or aligned, replaces traditional marketing for my business. My helping revolves around a lifelong purpose to assist others in substantial ways before I die.
This practice rejects keeping score and focuses instead on what people need. Growth for my business stems from this philosophy of mutual support rather than traditional marketing funnels. In this way I spend valuable time each day supporting individuals whose direction I believe in.
I'm Althena Rosalind. Most days you will find me writing my two sci-fantasy serials or coaching fellow writers on how to build their personal brands. I'm in the early years of a fifty-year mission and I'm sharing everything I learn as I learn it.
