1. Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information is collected through althenarosalind.com, why it is needed, which services help me process it, and the choices available to you.

What I collect

You do not need a visitor account to use this site. Information is collected only when it is needed to operate the website, send requested letters, complete a purchase, deliver a product or provide support.

• Website visits: Hostinger may record technical information such as your IP address, browser, device, requested pages and security events in ordinary server logs.
• Quarterly Letters: if you subscribe through the MailerLite form, I collect the first name and email address you provide, together with subscription and unsubscribe records.
• 100/50 Journey Group waitlist: if you join the separate MailerLite waitlist, I collect the first name and email address you provide, together with subscription and unsubscribe records. Joining this waitlist does not subscribe you to the Quarterly Letters.
• Purchases: when purchasing is enabled, Fourthwall collects and processes the contact, billing, location, payment and transaction information needed to run checkout, prevent fraud, calculate and collect tax, issue your receipt and complete the order. Fourthwall shares with me the buyer and order details needed to provide product support, keep appropriate records and honour refunds. I do not receive or store your full card details.
• Messages and support: if you email me, I receive the information you include and keep the conversation for as long as it is reasonably needed to answer you, support your purchase or maintain appropriate records.

How I use your information

I use personal information only for the purpose it was provided or for closely related administration:

• Server logs: to keep the site running and secure.
• Quarterly Letters information: to activate your requested subscription, send the welcome and current letter, send future quarterly letters, manage replies and honour unsubscribes.
• Group waitlist information: to activate your requested waitlist subscription, send the waitlist welcome and a small number of launch updates, manage replies and honour unsubscribes.
• Purchase information: to deliver files, confirm eligibility for support or refunds, maintain accounting and transaction records, prevent misuse and resolve order problems.
• Messages: to reply and provide the help you requested.

I do not sell or rent your personal information. I do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

Third parties

This site is hosted by Hostinger and uses custom PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript files. MailerLite processes subscriber information for the separate Quarterly Letters and 100/50 Journey Group waitlist systems. Fourthwall processes shop visits, checkout, order and transaction information and acts as the seller and merchant of record for purchases from my shop.

These providers may process information in countries outside Australia and use their own infrastructure and service providers. Their linked policies explain their processing, retention, safeguards and privacy contact routes.

How long I keep information

Subscription and waitlist information remains in MailerLite until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion, subject to any limited suppression record needed to respect your unsubscribe. Purchase, refund, tax and support records may be kept for as long as reasonably necessary for delivery, accounting, fraud prevention, disputes and legal obligations. Server-log retention is controlled by the host.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Ask what personal information I hold about you and request a copy.
• Ask me to correct, delete or restrict the use of your information where applicable.
• Withdraw consent and unsubscribe separately from the Quarterly Letters or Group waitlist at any time.
• Contact the relevant provider directly about information it controls, including Fourthwall shop and transaction data.

2. Cookie Policy

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to remember information about your visit. They are standard across the internet.

Cookies on this site

The core website does not currently set its own cookies or browser storage. It does not use visitor accounts, advertising cookies or a separate analytics service.

The embedded MailerLite signup forms and their supporting scripts may use cookies or browser storage to operate the forms, remember submission state and prevent misuse. When you visit my Fourthwall shop or open Fourthwall checkout, Fourthwall may use cookies or similar technology for shop operation, checkout, payment security, fraud prevention and transaction processing.

I do not currently add advertising cookies or a separate website-analytics service to althenarosalind.com. MailerLite and Fourthwall describe their own technology and choices in their privacy information.

Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies entirely, delete existing cookies, or be notified when a cookie is being set. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of some parts of this site.

Site usage

This site and its content are provided for personal enjoyment, information, and entertainment. You are welcome to read, share links, and engage with the content as intended.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or republish my written content, images, or other creative work without my explicit permission.
• Use any content from this site for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
• Attempt to interfere with the site's operation, security, or functionality.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract content from this site (including for the purposes of training AI models).

Products and Fourthwall checkout

Products are created under the Althena Rosalind brand and sold through Fourthwall. Fourthwall is the seller and merchant of record for product and membership purchases from my shop. My creative work, product descriptions and product-specific licences remain mine.

By completing an order, you agree to these website terms, the product’s stated licence, my 30-day refund policy and the Fourthwall purchase terms shown in the shop or checkout. Nothing in these terms reduces any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

Price, payment and tax

Before payment, the product page and Fourthwall checkout will identify what you are buying and show the amount, currency, applicable tax and any recurring commitment. Fourthwall calculates, collects and remits applicable sales tax as merchant of record. The checkout total is the final amount you authorise. A purchase is one time unless the product page and checkout clearly state that it is a recurring membership.

You can review your checkout information before placing the order. Please provide an accurate email address so your receipt and product access can reach you. Fourthwall charges the payment method you select and sends the transaction receipt electronically.

Delivery and product access

After successful payment, Fourthwall sends an email receipt and the access information for any digital product. If the email or download does not arrive, contact me at hello [at] althenarosalind [dot] com and I will help restore access. Technical delivery problems do not remove your refund or consumer rights.

Your product licence

A purchase gives you a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the files in the way described on the product page and in the licence supplied with the product. Some products permit household or homeschool use; others are licensed to the individual buyer. The product-specific licence tells you which applies.

Your own characters, writing, worlds and other original work created while using a product remain yours. The purchased lesson, workbook and supporting files remain my intellectual property. You may not upload, share, copy for other people, redistribute or resell those files, or use them to train an AI model, unless the product licence expressly gives that permission.

Refunds, transaction help and complaints

I offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase, including for digital products. This promise sits alongside any stronger or non-waivable rights you have under local law. Read the plain-language refund policy for the complete process.

You can contact me about product, download, payment, receipt or refund help at hello [at] althenarosalind [dot] com. I submit approved refunds through Fourthwall, and the money returns to the original payment method. The time it takes to appear depends on your payment provider and bank.

If something goes wrong, please contact me so I can understand the problem and work towards a fair resolution. You remain free to use any complaint, dispute or consumer-protection process available under applicable law.

Consumer rights and governing law

These website terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Purchases through Fourthwall are also subject to the terms shown in its shop and checkout. Mandatory consumer protections in your country or region continue to apply.

Nothing on this page excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

My images

The images on this site start with drawings or ideas I produce, using a skill I made myself. From there, images are generated using OpenAI GPT Image 2, Leonardo.Ai, or ZeroTwo.ai, then edited by me in GIMP using layers and composition techniques. The final images are exported as WebP files. The selection, editing, composition, and creative direction are my own.

The legal status of AI-generated imagery is an evolving area of law. Regardless of how this area develops, the curated and edited images on this site represent my creative choices and should not be copied, reproduced, or used without my permission.

Website design

This website was designed by me and built with AI assistance. The design concept, layout, colour palette, typography choices, and creative direction are entirely mine. The code was developed collaboratively with AI.
