The serials

Six sci-fantasy serials live on my desk. They're the love that started the whole journey, and each one counts as one of my hundred projects.

Every serial is written the quiet way: planned deeply, written from inside the characters, and published in its own time. No deadlines and no rush. This page is where you watch the worlds surface.

Toad-Dog
Doag the toad-dog, a multi-eyed creature encounter from the Advant serial

All the creature and location images across this site come from my Advant serial, except the Sausage-Cat, and each one carries its name on its image.

Two out front

Both are named after their core planets, and each carries one question it refuses to put down.

Advant

Eight billion robots. 357 humans. One terraformed planet on the brink. Advant keeps asking: who deserves a name?

Trooguh

40 demon types. 10 levels of hidden human magic. One warden lost in shadow. Trooguh's question cuts deeper: what does the truth mean?

The quiet four

Four more serials are growing in the quiet stage, which is exactly where I like them: named, planned, and kept out of the light until their worlds can stand on their own. Even their titles stay mine for now.

Each serial arrives through the shelf like everything else I finish. #-Keep an eye on it.

Worlds of your own

If stories keep arriving in your head, give them a home and a long runway. A serial can be one project of a hundred, growing in its own time the way mine do. And when you want the frame that holds a lifetime of them, #-the 100/50 Journey page is where it lives.

Althena Rosalind

I'm Althena Rosalind. The serials are my first great love: six worlds written from inside the characters, each arriving in its own time. The rest of the journey grows around them.

A generalist on the 100/50 Journey.

“A story you love is allowed to take its time. The love is what keeps it alive, not the deadline.”
